...Wow, this gets even more interesting (the Dave Tompkins story, that is):

'Central to Tomkins' defence as he remains in a Miami prison cell after being refused bail is the question of why the charges against him, filed in secret in 1994, were not acted upon for nine years.'

'Only when he attempted to visit the US last year - arriving on a flight from London to Houston, where he planned to attend a military-run survival training course in preparation for a security job with a firm involved in Iraq's reconstruction - was he arrested.'

I wonder if he was going to a seminar put on by SGC? They do that sort of thing...
