Back on March 26th I made a fleeting comparison between the U.S. war on terrorism and Los Angeles' war on gangs. The war on gangs came to a crashing halt with the Rampart scandal. I don't think I need to connect the dots here, and quite frankly I'm a bit too tired to do so. I'm going to take a break from posting for awhile (I say that, then tomorrow I'll probably make five posts...), my head hurts from reading about U.S. torture of Iraqi prisoners. This stuff is truly sick. It's a sad day to be an American.
