A couple of early morning thoughts:
A.) Will the new Iraqi government opt to be a member of OPEC (I believe Iraq was up until the war) or will it stay independent? That question could have quite a bit to do with OPEC's future and its ability to set prices.
B.) Will the new Iraqi government be able to pick who it wants to run its oil fields? I would assume that after the U.S. leaves, they could pick whomever they wish to run the oil fields and ought to be able to grant concessions to whomever they choose. It also seems to me that the U.S. government can't really guarantee anything to the companies it's contracted to "rebuild" Iraq; if the new government should decide to stop American reconstruction efforts then there's not much the administration could do about it.
